How do I Create a MSEL List?

To start creating MSEL Injects, click MSEL List from the Design drop-down. 

Follow these steps:

Step 1

  1. From the main menu, select Plan Exercise.
  2. Then select MSEL and then List.
  3. Click the Create MSEL Inject button.

  4. Type in the inject’s Title.

  5. Select the date from the calendar.

  6. Add the time.

Step 2

  1. Choose the Status.

  2. Select a Scenario from the drop-down. If you haven't created a Scenario yet, follow the provided documentation to add Scenarios.

  3. Choose the Type (e.g., Key, Enabling, or Supporting).

  4. Select an Owner from the drop-down. If you don't see the right MSEL Owner in the options, click Add New.

  5. Choose the From and To option. Click Add New if the options you need are unavailable.

  6. Specify the Inject Method. This determines how the inject will be delivered to the training audience.

  7. Click Next to proceed.

 

Note: You can edit the Name and Date & Time in this step.

Step 3

  1. Type in the MSEL's Trigger.

  2. Add the Anticipated Response/Expected Player Action.

  3. Provide additional inject details in the Remarks section.

  4. Add a file(s) to the box labeled Drop Your files or Click to Upload. No more than 10 files can be added at once.

  5. Provide the Response Time.

    1. Click the MM/DD/YYYY box and add the date.

    2. Select the time from the 00:00 box.

  6. Type in the Actual Response.

  7. Click Next to continue to the following step. 

Step 4

  1. Click the pin icon next to Select Location.

  2. A window titled Choose Location will appear.

  3. Choose the location to drop the pin.

  4. Select the Save button to add the location.

  5. Click the Next button to proceed.


Step 5

Tip:  Ensure objectives are added before proceeding with this step. Please refer to Objectives documentation for adding objectives if needed.

  1. Find the Available Objectives you would like to assign.

  2. Click the plus sign (+) associated with Action. The Objective will move to the Assigned Objectives section.

  3. Select the box associated with the Training Method.

  4. Choose a method from the drop-down menu.

  5. Repeat these steps until you've assigned all the necessary Objectives.

  6. Click Next to proceed.

Step 6

This step provides an overview of the actions you have completed. To make any changes, click the Previous button. If revisions are unnecessary, click the Complete button.
