How do I Create a Participant?

To create a participant, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, select Plan Exercise.

2. Select the Dashboard.

3. Click the blue Create dropdown menu button and choose New Participant.

From there, follow the instructions below:

Step 1 

  1. Type in the participant Name.

  2. Select the Type from the drop-down. 

  3. Click Save to move to the next step. 

Step 2

  1. Choose relevant details from the drop-downs for the Service or Department.

  2. Repeat this action for the Service/Department Type and Command or Agency.

  3. Provide the Home Station location.
  4. Enter the Total Training Audience number. This number should include all members associated with this participant. 

  5. Select the Organization Type.
  6. Click on the box beneath Select an Icon.

  7. Choose an icon from the list.

  8. Press Next

Step 2

  1. Click the Add Platform button.

  2. Choose the Platform from the drop-down menu.

  3. Proceed to add the Bed Down information.

  4. Press the Save button.
  5. Click Next to move on to the third step.

Note: Repeat steps 1-3 as needed.

Step 3

  1. Click Add Members

  2. Type in the Name, Email, and Phone Number of the planner.

  3. Select the relevant Position from the drop-down.  

  4. Choose Primary Contact, Invite User, or both. 

  5. Press Save to finish adding the planner.

  6. Click the Next button

Note: Repeat steps 1-4 to include additional Participant Members.

Step 4 

  1. Click Add Funding Allocation

  2. Choose the funding type from the Funding Allocations drop-down.

  3. Type in the dollar value of the funding in the Amount field. 

  4. Press Save.

  5. Click Next.

Note: Repeat steps 1-4 to include multiple funding allocations.

Review

The Review page gives a comprehensive overview of Participant details. Click Previous if a section needs to be updated.

Press the Complete button to finish adding Participant details.
