We’re thrilled to announce that Kevin Sligh, former Director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), has joined Disaster Tech as a Senior Advisor. With over 25 years of leadership spanning emergency management, regulatory oversight, and energy sector innovation, Kevin brings unmatched expertise to our mission of transforming disaster response through technology. 

Kevin’s career includes pivotal roles at FEMA, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the White House National Security Council. He has led national operations in oil spill response, crisis management, and environmental protection, most notably serving as Deputy Incident Commander during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. His strategic insights have shaped policy and operations across federal agencies and private sector initiatives. 

As Founder and CEO of Promethean Global Consulting Group, Kevin has guided organizations in oil & gas process safety, resilience strategy, and energy transition initiatives. His work has consistently driven sustainable growth and resilience across complex regulatory landscapes. Kevin has extended Promethean’s mission to include Disaster Resilience Consulting, strengthening the capacity of organizations, communities, and governments to withstand, adapt to, and bounce back from disasters.
